You live very centrally in Franzensgasse, a small alley with many beautiful Biedermeier houses in the inner city district of Margareten. Just around the corner is Vienna's most beautiful market, the Naschmarkt. There are many shops, pubs, bars and restaurants there.The 1st district, the historic center of the city, with sights such as Karlskirche, Hofburg, City Hall and Spanish Riding School, can be reached on foot in about 10 to 15 minutes. Or you can take the subway and go one stop to Karlsplatz. The U4-Kettenbrückengasse subway station is a few minutes from the apartment.Vienna's most famous shopping street, Mariahilfer Straße, can also be reached in about 10 minutes on foot. The Museumsquartier with the Mumok and the Leopold Museum is also about 10 to 15 minutes on foot from the apartment.If you've had enough of the city center and want to get out into the countryside, the U4 subway line will take you to Schönbrunn Palace in around 15 minutes, where you can follow in Empress Sisi's footsteps.
