With both of these lines a trip into the inner-city or connection to any other subway- or tram lines takes only about 5 minutes. The bus line 48a is also within 5-minute walking distance. Within two blocks of Alserstrasse you will find anything you could need on a daily basis; cafés, restaurants, supermarkets, drugstores, bakeries, post offices and pharmacies. Particularly convenient is a bakery that opens unconventionally early, closes late and is open during Sun- and Holidays (an exception in Vienna!) which is a one-minute walk away. A gourmet supermarket and a bio supermarket are also reachable within a three minute walk. In this location a car is not necessary for sure, bike lanes are also located within closest distance. The walk into the inner-city takes about 10 minutes, it leads along the green campus of the University of Vienna. Parking in the area is generally temporary short-time-parking only. There is no parking space included in the price, however there is the parking garage “Zimmermannplatz” around the building’s corner as well. There you can also park your car for a longer period of time if necessary.
