As opposed to most of Vienna’s districts, the thirteenth district has no short-term parking zone, meaning you are free to park anywhere in the district for as long as you want (exception: some main streets may fall under a short-term parking zone, please look for signs!) Just around the corner on Hietzinger Hauptstraße, you will find the tram stop (also called Hietzinger Hauptstraße) that connects you with the line 58. This takes you up until Westbahnhof, to where the city’s inner districts start. Alternatively, walk 5 minutes to the metro station Unter St. Veit, which connects you to the metro line U4 and takes you directly to the city centre in 15 minutes (get out at the end station Karlsplatz).
