Vienna's most famous shopping mile, Mariahilfer Straße can also be reached in about 10 minutes on foot. The Museumsquartier with the Mumok and the Leopold Museum is also around 10 to 15 minutes walk from the apartment. If you have had enough of the city center and want to go out into the countryside for a bit, the U4 subway line will take you to Schönbrunn Palace in about 15 minutes, where you can follow in Empress Sisi's footsteps.
